About FIXD Tortilla Chips

What makes FIXD different from other tortilla chips?

FIXD makes tortilla chips with simple, recognizable ingredients and no seed oils. We use coconut oil instead of canola, soybean, sunflower, corn, or other seed oils.

We also skip artificial dyes and colors and focus heavily on taste. The goal was not to make a chip that tastes good “for a better-ingredient snack.” We wanted to make a tortilla chip we’d choose over the conventional stuff, then fix the ingredient list.

Are FIXD tortilla chips seed oil free?

Yes. FIXD tortilla chips are made without seed oils.

We do not use canola oil, soybean oil, sunflower oil, safflower oil, cottonseed oil, corn oil, or generic vegetable oil as the cooking oil. FIXD tortilla chips are made with coconut oil.

FIXD tortilla chips are made with coconut oil.

We chose coconut oil because we wanted to make tortilla chips without the seed oils commonly used in conventional snack foods while still getting the crunch and flavor we wanted from the finished chip.

Are FIXD tortilla chips gluten free?

Yes. FIXD tortilla chips are gluten free.

They are made with corn-based ingredients and are produced in a facility free from the top nine major food allergens. Always check the package for the most current ingredient and allergen information.

Are all corn tortilla chips gluten free?

Not necessarily.

Corn itself is naturally gluten free, but tortilla chips can contain additional ingredients, seasonings, or be produced in environments where cross-contact may be a concern.

If avoiding gluten is important to you, check the ingredient list, allergen information, and gluten-free claim on the specific product.

Are gluten free tortilla chips also seed oil free?

No. These are two separate things.

A tortilla chip can be gluten free and still be cooked in canola, sunflower, soybean, or another seed oil. Likewise, a seed oil free chip is not automatically gluten free.

If both matter to you, check both the gluten-free labeling and the cooking oil.

What flavors does FIXD offer?

FIXD currently comes in two flavors:

Simply Salted
A classic salted tortilla chip made with coconut oil and simple ingredients.

Tangy Tortilla
A bolder, tangier flavor for people who want something closer to the flavor experience of a seasoned chip rather than a plain tortilla chip.

Both are made without seed oils and artificial dyes or colors.

Is FIXD a Doritos alternative?

Tangy Tortilla was made for people who want a bold, highly snackable flavored tortilla chip without the seed oils and artificial dyes commonly found in many conventional flavored chips.

It is not intended to be a direct copy of Doritos, but if you are looking for a seed oil free Doritos alternative, Tangy Tortilla is probably the FIXD flavor you’ll want to try first.

Does FIXD use artificial dyes or colors?

No. FIXD tortilla chips do not use artificial dyes or artificial colors.

Does FIXD contain any of the top nine major allergens?

FIXD tortilla chips are produced in a facility that is free from the top nine major food allergens.

We intentionally kept the ingredient philosophy simple: recognizable ingredients, no seed oils, no artificial dyes or colors, and no unnecessary junk.

We wanted to make tortilla chips without seed oils while still delivering the crunch and flavor people expect from a great tortilla chip.

Coconut oil gave us the result we were looking for without relying on the seed oils commonly used in conventional chips.

Does FIXD offer a subscription?

Yes. FIXD subscriptions ship monthly and include a 5% discount on each subscription order.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Shipping & Orders

When will FIXD pre-orders ship?

Our first production batch is currently expected to begin shipping around mid-November.

Because this is our first production run, timing may shift slightly. If anything meaningful changes, we’ll keep customers updated by email.

How long will shipping take after FIXD is in stock?

Once normal fulfillment begins, shipping times will depend on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout.

You’ll receive tracking information by email when your order ships.

Does FIXD ship internationally?

FIXD currently ships within the United States.
